America’s most famous personality found dead at her home in Manhattan.

The famous sex and relationship expert Ruth Westheimer has died.

She was 96 years old.

As Dr. Ruth, the famous therapist and radio show host gave sexy advice for many years.

People all over the world loved her honest personality and straight-forward advice, which made her a star in her own right.

The New York Times says that Dr. Ruth’s spokesman, Pierre Lehu, told the press that she had died at her home in New York.

Westheimer was Jewish and was born in Germany in 1928. She lived through World War II and saw it happen.

She came very close to going to one of the Holocaust’s concentration camps before she moved to the United States as a teenager.

She often said that her view of sex as something to be enjoyed came from bad things that happened to her as a child.

The star started her career in the 1980s by taking mailed-in questions from radio listeners about sex and relationships. She was in her 50s at the time.

She wrote over 40 books, some of which were how-to guides on health and sexuality. These books talked about things that most doctors still don’t talk about openly.

Dr. Ruth used to have a regular column in Playgirl magazine, and an educational board game and a computer game both used her well-known name.

She was admired by college students, and having her come to campus was often one of the biggest events of the year.

Her face started showing up in commercials and small roles in well-known TV shows and movies very quickly.

In the 1985 French movie One Woman or Two, which starred Gérard Depardieu and Sigourney Weaver and came out in the US in 1987, she had a small but well-known part.

COMPARED TO NO OTHER
People knew Dr. Ruth for how she did therapy and how she thought about sex and relationships.

Back then, people who were honest about their sexual relationships usually only did so in very medical settings or behind closed doors, talking about what their friends had learned in their personal lives.

It was easy to remember Westheimer because she was a short woman (4 feet 7 inches) with a wry smile and a light accent who gave out sex tips.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the way she talked and acted was “like a cross between Henry Kissinger and a canary.”

Many of the things she said on her radio show are now part of her legacy.

Finding pleasure in sex is just as important as making your partner happy. This is bad for both of you if you don’t do it, she said.

“Experience bad sex as little as possible.

“Sexuality should be celebrated, not hidden or shamed.”

It’s said: “Sexual pleasure is the most wonderful thing in the world.”

An excellent life lived
Karola Ruth Siegel Westheimer was born on June 4, 1928, in Wiesenfeld, Germany. She was the only child of Julius and Irma Siegel, who were an Orthodox Jewish couple.

She had a good life with her parents and grandparents until Germany started to treat Jews worse all over the country.

Her family sent her to an orphanage in Switzerland after the Nazis took away her father in 1938. There, she says she was treated like a second-class citizen.

It’s likely that she lost her parents and grandparents in Auschwitz and never saw them again.

When Dr. Ruth was young, she moved to Israel and married her first husband. However, the marriage didn’t last long and ended.

Later, she married a Frenchman and had a child with him, but she later said that marriage was also not sustainable.

Later, when she moved to New York City in the 1950s, she finally met the right person in telecommunications engineer Manfred Westheimer.

In the early 1960s, they got married and stayed married until Manfred’s death in 1997.

Her son Joel Westheimer, her daughter Miriam Westheimer, and her four grandchildren will miss her.

Firefighters Want Everyone To Know What They Should Never Plug Into A Power Strip.

As the frigid winter months approach, people across the northern hemisphere are turning on their heating systems and pulling out space heaters to keep warm. However, according to firefighters, there is one crucial safety tip everyone who uses a space heater should know – you should never plug it into a power strip.

The Oregon Umatilla County Fire District 1 in Hermiston issued an urgent Facebook post warning the public about the dangers of plugging a space heater into a power strip. “You should never plug a heater into a power strip,” they cautioned. “These units are not designed to handle the high current flow needed for a space heater and can overheat or even catch fire due to the added energy flow.”

This warning quickly went viral, as thousands of people were unaware of just how hazardous this practice can be. The Toledo Fire Department in Ohio also shared a similar alert after a house fire was caused by a space heater plugged into a power strip. The intense heat from the heater ignited the couch, and the entire home was soon engulfed in flames.

Space heaters can reach temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, making them a serious fire risk if not used properly. The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that portable electric space heaters cause around 1,200 fires per year, often due to careless usage.

However, the Oregon firefighters emphasized that space heaters themselves are not inherently dangerous – it’s the way people use them that can become a problem. “The point comes down to proper use. Even the best equipment can fail if not used correctly. No one manufacturer is at fault, yet it’s all about the end user’s ability to use the product safely.”

In other words, space heaters are perfectly safe when plugged directly into a wall outlet. But the high energy demands of these heating units can easily overload a power strip, causing it to overheat and potentially start a devastating fire. Firefighters strongly recommend never taking this risk.

To keep your home and family safe this winter, there are several important electrical fire prevention tips to follow:

1. Keep All Heat-Producing Appliances Unplugged When Not in Use

2. Use Extension Cords for Temporary Use Only

3. Keep the Third Prong

4. Update Your Electrical System

5. Don’t Use Damaged Power Cords

6. Follow Appliance Directions

7. Don’t Ignore Trouble Signs

Be on the lookout for any warning signs that an appliance or electrical outlet may be malfunctioning, such as:

Burn marks or discoloration around a socket or light fixture
The appliance, power cord, or outlet feeling hot to the touch
Burning smells while the appliance is in use
Sparks or shocks when plugging in an appliance
Frequently tripping breakers or blowing fuses
Make sure you have working smoke detectors in every room, so you’ll be alerted right away if something goes wrong.

As the winter cold sets in, it’s crucial that everyone who uses a space heater takes the necessary safety precautions. Plugging these high-powered heating devices into a power strip is an extremely hazardous practice that can easily lead to devastating electrical fires. By heeding the advice of firefighters and following basic electrical safety guidelines, you can stay warm and cozy all season long without putting your home and loved ones at risk. Stay safe and happy heating!

Bear Refuses To Let Baby Go – Ranger Bursts Into Tears When He Discovers Why

A dramatic change of events has seen local ranger Peter, who was just suspended from his job, become a hero following a courageous encounter with a black bear that was carrying a baby. Initially written off by law enforcement and other rangers, the incident has taken an unexpected turn that has exposed a tragic yet touching tale.

Concern over frequent predator sightings in the area arose when Peter noticed the bear in the distance, prompting reports to first arise. Peter carefully approached and was startled to see the bear holding a baby. He tried his hardest to notify the police and other rangers, but his statements were taken seriously, which led to his suspension.

Unfazed, Peter asked his closest friend and fellow ranger, Jacob, for assistance in looking into the situation more thoroughly. The two discovered black bear footprints against all odds, persuading even the doubtful Jacob that Peter might have some validity.

The moment they started following the tracks, things got rather serious. After a heated confrontation with the bear, Jacob found himself in a dangerous circumstance. Jacob had to climb a tree to escape the bear’s rushing charge, leaving Peter to pursue the bear to the cave where it had snatched the infant.

Peter’s perseverance got him into the cave’s shadowy depths, where he amazingly found the lost infant safe and sound. Nevertheless, a bear confrontation occurred, and Peter and the infant were only spared by the presence of additional rangers equipped with tranquilizer darts.

As it became clear that the bear had been raising the youngster after the child’s parents died in a tragic vehicle accident, the story grew even more complex. Remarkably, no police report had been filed regarding any missing babies.

In a tragic turn of events, Peter and his wife chose to adopt the child since they were so saddened by the situation. After undergoing medical examinations, the infant was deemed healthy and was placed with the couple.

The captain of the local police confirmed the information, thanking Peter for his brave actions and recognizing the outcome’s bittersweetness. Upon being reinstated as a ranger, Peter conveyed his deep happiness at the surprising direction his life had gone.

This amazing story serves as a reminder of the difficulties encountered when interacting with wildlife and the human spirit’s ability to persevere in the face of difficulty.

Uncovering the Mysteries of the Lake in Oklahoma.

Residents of Oklahoma found a mysterious hard sac-like ‘egg’ hanging from the tree roots at the lake, but scientists are now calming the locals, who immediately jumped to conclusions of alien proportions, by explaining that it’s an ancient creature

These creatures have found the right space and environment, so its likely they’ll be around a lot this summer.

Locals in Oklahoma discovered large, jelly-like sacs with a hard exterior hanging from tree roots; they immediately thought the answer was extraterrestrial. Or at least not good news.

But scientists, reassuring the public, have said that the locals in the area got a rare treat – the glimpse of the reproductive system of an ancient animal that’s been around since before the dinosaurs.

Immediately, locals put it up online, and spectators began commenting on the extraterrestrial-looking eggs. But scientists say that the creatures were simple bryozoans. They’ve been around for hundreds of millions of years, before the first dinosaurs roamed the planet. The animals may actually be good news for the lake.

These bizarre creatures are actually hundreds of tiny bryozoans.

Officials reassured the public that the animals are absolutely supposed to be there

Bryozoans clone themselves into large masses to filter tiny particles out of the water for food, cleaning up the lake. The critters normally reside in ponds and lakes. This time, it was found in McGee Creek Reservoir, located on the southwest edge of the Ouachita Mountain Range.

Bryozoan clumps aren’t an egg or just one animal at all. They form this hard shell as they are hundreds of creatures banded together. The pods, known as zooids, are each a fraction of a millimeter long. They lack any respiratory or circulatory systems, but their central nerve ganglion allows the animal to respond to stimuli.

These pods are hanging from tree roots, and actually help clean the lake

The tiny invertebrates possess both male and female reproductive organs, allowing them to self-clone and spread through clumps of cells on the organism known as statoblasts.

Each statoblast can reproduce asexually. They do this by breaking off from a colony, allowing the animal to reproduce rapidly if the space and the weather are suitable. The animals eat phytoplankton and bacteria lurking in water.

Fossil records suggest they may have evolved from an ancient marine worm. Their grandparents, ancient bryozoans, date back as far as 470 million years. For perspective, dinosaurs came around 245 million years ago.

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) shared the photos on social media. “What is that??? If you’re out boating somewhere like McGee Creek Reservoir you may notice these strange jelly-like balls hanging from submerged tree limbs,” begins the post.

“These are Bryozoans, and they’ll likely show up in large numbers this summer. Don’t be alarmed these microorganisms are native and are of no danger to you or wildlife. In fact, they are an indicator of good environmental quality and clear water!”
